Looking for a thread/pic here, but can't seem to find

I thought I saw the other day in a thread, a mod to a pedal that I meant to bookmark/remember. One of ya'll did a modification to a pedal, there's a toggle switch on top, on the same face as the output jack. I think it was mix/blend or dry mod. I just can't quite remember. I'm building a...

Who's down for some SMD layouts?

I was just looking at hot plates with solder paste videos for SMD the other day, as I had not seen that method before.

BBE Sonic Maximizer vs 10 Band EQ?

I'd go with a 10-band EQ, more options that way.

    What plectrum does everyone use?

Love trying new picks.. Just got those Max Grip 88's in today in fact. They have quite the grip, I like them but need to get used to them. Probably the strongest grip I've tried. My pick autobiography for many years was Jazz IIIs or Brains. Recently got into Flows .73 .88 1.14, which I really...

First crack at breadboarding, any words of wisdom?

Spacing things out in sections like a schematic is helping me out. At first I was trying to put things too compactly. I can't find the post, but someone put little white sticker tabs on resistor legs with their value written on it when they breadboard, which I'm going to start doing.

    DIY Reactive Attenuator/Loadbox

Thanks man, there was a lot of technical jargon and graphs which I had to gloss over. But it's really cool to read and see how the design evolved over the last couple years.

    DIY Reactive Attenuator/Loadbox

It was daunting at first for me, reading that thread because it's really long and I haven't tried building anything outside of pedals. But it's really just a coil, a few resistors, jacks and switches. There's a few versions you can do, too. An 8 ohm, 16 ohm, or variable input. And you can make...

    DIY Reactive Attenuator/Loadbox

I use Kelvin units lol. Mistake drill holes so I had to think of something fun. But I have a hunch they won't work.

    DIY Reactive Attenuator/Loadbox

Thanks, it was easier than I thought. Never realized how few parts are in these. I was dreading the purchase of a good loadbox.
