    Custom EEPROM for Pythagoras

How do you order a custom EEPROM with only 3 algorithms for use with the Pythagoras? Or does it not matter? If you put an 8 program IC in a Pythagoras will it just access the first three programs only?

Skeptical Buffer Face Plate and Board Misaligned?

I finally got around to building the Skeptical Buffer with face plate and the holes with the board don't line up with the holes on the face plate? Is this possible? Did I miss something? I downloaded the drill template, drilled the enclosure, lined up with the face plate, put the toggle...

    Madbean Harbinger 1.5 9v or 18v?

Anyone have a preference or recommendation? Build for 18v or 9v? Any noticeable difference? Thanks!

    Bypass Trimpots or Potentiometers

If I wanted to exclude a trimpot or potentiometer do jumper pins 1 to 2 or 1 to 3? i.e. on the Sandspur I want to exclude the external bias knob and just use an internal 10k trimpot. And I want to skip the Clean trimpot. Thanks!

    Equilux Equalizer FB Question

On the regular version of the Equilux, in the lower left of the board there is a maybe a Diode with "FB" on the silkscreen. Can anyone let me know what part this is? Apologies in advance if this is totally obvious or has been answered already. I tried searching the forums and could find anything...

    Cleaver V1 DPDT

Does anyone know what type of DPDT the old version of the Cleaver uses? Thanks!

    EEPROM Algorithms FV-1 Builds

Way back I purchased a few of the FV-1 multi effect projects but didn't totally understand at that time you could build your own EEPROMs. Recently I went through the custom builder options and it looks like there may be a few that are not on any of the pre-packaged projects and there is a little...

    AionFX Sunstone Needs Buffer

I built the Sunstone (Small Stone) from Aion Fx and everything works except if it's the only pedal in the chain (or there are only true Bypass pedals in front of it) the sound is really dark. If I put a buffer in front of it then the pedal sounds as it should. I had previously built the Lectric...

    Aion FX Blueshift Bypass Options

I know a bunch of people here have built this one. Any opinions on Stock vs Minimalist bypass options. I'm inclined to go minimalist but thought I'd ask around. Thanks!

7371 Bulb Orientation (Electro and Photon Vibe)

Does the orientation of the bulb matter? On the silk screen there is a line but on the bulb there doesn't appear to be any identification on a specific orientation. Thanks!

    Vanquisher Fuzz

Built this one a few weeks ago. I've been working my way through some Jeorge Tripps/Way Huge classics. It has that gatey, spitty sound but it's a little less fuzz and a tad more distortion. Makes it a little more usable than other similar fuzzes. I easily fit this into a 'B' enclosure with side...

    DIY A/B Looper

I've been A/Bing a lot of pedals lately so I thought I might build an A/B Switcher. B size enclosure. Gorva soft switch. Bi-Color LED. I decided to do A loop on the right and B loop on the left. As opposed to both Sends on the same side and both Receives on the other. Works great. No popping so...

DEMO Cepheid Chorus with Comparison video to Aion FX Azure, Caesar Chorus and vintage Boss CE-2

Cepheid Chorus/CE-2 clone I built a few weeks back for a friend. Uses the Cool Audio v3207 chip. Everything went smoothly except for the daughter board. I recommend not using a daughter board on this build because of the 47n cap in the lower left of the board. I was able to get around it by...

    Double Entendre Fuzz

Taking a break from Big Muffs here is an Electro Harmonix Double Muff. The name is a little misleading because IMO this pedal is closer to an overdrive than a Big Muff Fuzz. It actually sounds pretty good. Probably not something I'd ever use with a band but it's a simple and rewarding build. It...

Throwback Build 2004 Tonepad Tube Screamer

Back in the early 2000s I was getting into boutique builders like Zvex and Barber. I was also taking an interest in guys like Robert Keeley and Analogman and how they were modding pedals to make them sound better. Researching pedal modding on the internet of the mid aughts led me to a guy named...

PCBGM Cherry Fuzz (Frantone Peach Fuzz)

Here is one I wish that Pedal PCB would release. I love the Cream Pie Fuzz but the Peach Fuzz is a better and more usable fuzz pedal. It has lots of volume and good mid range content making it more live band friendly than other muff type fuzzes. Back in the early 00's I played in a band with...

    Muffin Fuzz (Green Russian)

I've probably built more Big Muff clones than any other pedal. This is the first time I've done a Green Russian and I'm asking myself why I haven't done one before! It's still a Muff but with a touch more grit than other models.

    Pauper

Another build for a friend. This is the second Pauper I've built. Like my first Paragon build I used fake MA856s in the first Pauper. It sounded good but next to my Prince of Tone it was definitely missing a little something. In this one I used the BAS33s and it sounds better to me. I don't have...

    Paragon Mini

This is the third Paragon Mini I've built and like the other two this one is going to a friend. One of these days I'll build one for myself. I think I like this better than the regular Paragon. Eventually I'll build the regular Paragon with the mods going around so I can compare. Of the three...

    3mm vs. 5mm for Clipping

Any difference with using a 5mm vs 3mm LED (of the same color) for clipping? I know color matters. Thanks!
