Another build for a friend. This is the second Pauper I've built. Like my first Paragon build I used fake MA856s in the first Pauper. It sounded good but next to my Prince of Tone it was definitely missing a little something. In this one I used the BAS33s and it sounds better to me. I don't have my Prince of Tone anymore to compare but next to my first Pauper build it's got that little extra kick. This is a great build even with 1N914s but if you are going to use 1N914s I might recommend the blue side of the Protein. The bells and whistles of the Pauper are okay but I always use it as an OD. If I'm going to use 1N914/4148s I prefer the Protein/Pro-10 Blue.
