    Cross Contaminator

Awesome! I love that graphic. I might be mistaking, but it looks like you doubled up on CLRs for your LED (breakout board and effect pcb). Instead use a jumper or 0 ohm resistor in one of those positions.

    Missing Build Docs / Schematics

Is the Tayda Drill template for the Passive A/B/Y floating around anywhere?

Another thing that I didn't do for the longest time was to change the ruler in Illustrator so that 0,0 is in the center of the artboard. It's really easy to do: just go to top left of ruler and click it then drag until it snaps to the center of the artboard, then release the mouse. When you...

These from pachyderm pedals have served me well enough. I'm less concerned about getting these exactly right aesthetically as I am overall dimensions, layout, etc. For the knobs and stuff, I just open one of the templates and copy and paste it into my project...

I built a bunch of PCBGM pedals so you don’t have to

Out of curiosity, why do folks not recommend PCBGM?

Help fixing LFO tick on Phase 45

I know LFO tick is common on this type of circuit and has been addressed in PedalPCB boards. Can anyone help solve this issue?

Absolutely! The UV stuff can be quite daunting at first but when you figure out a good workflow it's really no sweat. Try downloading this We Transfer file for a pedal I'm working on right now. It's a 1590xx enclosure. The most important layers are white, color, and gloss-v (v for varnish or m...

SOLVED Can some one please tell me what is going on?

SOLVED! The board was laid out for J113 Transistors and I Used 2n5952. Well, after looking at the data sheets for both, the Pinout is reversed for the two (First pic is J113, Second is 2N5952). So I had them in backwards. It explains why I was able to get something when the diode was backwards I...

SOLVED Can some one please tell me what is going on?

So I tried it with the diode reversed (the wrong way) and I can get a sweep and the trim pot and speed knob change the sound but it’s like a high pitched whine that bleeds through on bypass. But when I put the diode in the right way i have the same problem listed above.

SOLVED Can some one please tell me what is going on?

No, nothing changes when I adjust the trim pot. I even did so very slowly because some people say these only work well in a very specific position.

Can anyone critique this wiring layout?

I would use a 3pdt breakout but the holes in my 2-in-1 enclosure for the switches are so close to the edges that they won't allow space for one.

SOLVED Can some one please tell me what is going on?

Thanks everyone, indeed the zener was right the first time, so I switched it from right to the wrong polarity. But now when the effect is engaged, I get a dry signal but no phase effect. It's not just an unaffected signal either; its thinner (lacking lowend) Could running voltage through it with...

Can anyone critique this wiring layout?

No, LED's on these are off the board. Yep I've got them In front of the LEDs, just didn't feel like putting them in the diagram. Also good suggestion with the Ground wires.

Can anyone critique this wiring layout?

Its two PCB's from Effectpedalkits.com I picked them over PedalPCB for this pedal because his are more compact and allow for offboard potentiometer wiring. I just wish he had included a couple extra ground pads so I'm not struggling to fit multiple wires through one pad. The LED's I have in the...

Can anyone critique this wiring layout?

Specifically my grounding. I feel like I'm missing something obvious that will make it way more straightforward.

Can anyone critique this wiring layout?

I'm really looking to make the offboard wiring less cluttered. I hate that the PCB's I bought only have 4 pads for offboard wiring. I guess we're blessed with how well PedalPCB boards are laid out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SOLVED Can some one please tell me what is going on?

I've got an issue, I'm getting crazy oscillation on a phase 45 PCB I built (watch youtube video). I've tried wiring every which way, cleaning flux residue, switching the IC's, looking for cold joints. I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. The only thing I knowingly did wrong was...

    Help Wiring 2-in-1 Pedal

I've looked at those, it will work except the pcbs I'm using only have one ground pad, no LED pads. I've got it working but I am not sure if I have it set up the best way. There's a ton of offboard wiring the way I have it now. I've got 4 wires from the + of the DC jack running to the two LEDs...

    Help Wiring 2-in-1 Pedal

Any Idea how I could wire these two pedals into one enclosure without 3PDT breakouts? The 4 wires at the bottom of each PCB are (in order from left to right) Input, +9v, -, Output. Also would need to include an LED in there somewhere since these PCBs don't have LED pads. Thanks!
