Good grief - thank you so much for the corrections. I had misread the discussion on freestompboxes re: the voltage divider. Any thoughts on the volume control? I'm thinking of just leaving it at the Termina values since I think it gets to basically the same place. OTOH, if I used the Jan Ray...

I've had a few real Timmys. I'm doing this version just to see if I actually notice any differences...plus it amuses me to do a clone of a (mostly) clone of a great pedal. Thanks for your thoughts. I'll check out the TSV-808.

Ugggh…careless, thine name is me. Solder bridge on IC2 that I missed first time through. All is fine now. 🤦‍♂️ Agree on the solder joints. This was my first project from PCB. I’m getting better, but still not there.

C13 replaced. Still get continuity across the leads :unsure:. My voltage is not dividing correctly (Vb not 4.54V), so I'll go back to R17 and R18 to see if I can get them straightened out. Pin 1 and 4 on both ICs read correctly (9.08V and 0V). Pin 2 and 3 on IC1A operate correctly (pin 3 V 1/2...

Double checked. Still continuity on C13. I’ll replace it and report back.

I did. I get Clean Volume side to work, nothing else. I need to replace C13 first and then see. I get continuity between the leads of C13.

Correct. 9.36V on one side, 9.08V on the other.

I have two more from that batch. They all measure about the same.

On the diode setting, I get .212V one way and OL the other.

At the risk of outing myself as a bigger dummy than my previous post... So, let's assume you are working on your first pedal, the Aion Proxima, and, in the midst of a massive brain fart, you wire the DC jack backwards...oops. Possibly luckily, you are just testing the LED and the spidey senses...
