As far as I know they are interchangeable. It’s due to chip availability. Both work for the fv-1. There’s been a shortage of the 32 so @Robert has been using the 64’s. He mentions it in a thread somewhere.

I play mine regularly and I have never noticed a lack of bass. Depending on the high cut position the bass is set between 11:00-2:30. That’s with a tele and a vox ac15 adjacent amp. I have only tried it with a tele, it’s all I have.

Thanks! The faceplate turned out really well. The one trimmer should be adjusted to 2k. I found a thread that outlined how to adjust to 2k when you’ve already installed the components. If I had the pedal handy I would just measure the voltage of q1 but it’s on a friends pedalboard currently

I’m not sure if you’re ready for the reveal, but is the replacement going to expand on the echo foxtrot features or is it just changing how the tube is mounted?

Have you been able to check components and reflow solder. Do you have an audio probe. If you don’t a quick google search should solve that problem cause they’re easy enough to make. It does sound like the issue is in your wet signal. Have you checked the voltages?

There’s so many good options already mentioned. But I’ll mention the chauffeur as it can cover a lot of ground. I’m not a high gain player. So it covers all of my dirt needs… if I wanted it to.

Have you used an audio probe to see if there is audio coming through the reverb side of the pedal?

I had issues with clearance. I soldered the brick directly to the board. Unfortunately I didn’t ensure that the bricks pins were bent to sit perfectly parallel to the board. It ended up that the brick sat slanted and I had to get creative and do some weight loss on the brick. lesson learned...
