Oh yeah, mechanical switchers are cheaper. The relay switching is so nice though. I rarely use it myself.

Just looking at the top of the board, your soldering could use some help. I can see through the solder pad on a lot of the components. Go back and reflow the solder through the board and see where that gets you.

I still do it from time to time. I’ve been doing this for a long long time.

If you powered it on with the TL072 upside down, you’re going to need a new one, I’m almost positive. I’ve had maybe 1 ever survive that.
