1/8 or 1/4 watt resistors?

Disclaimer: So, I'll start by saying, I'm kind of a noob. I tried to build a pedal 10 years ago and I did something to brick it. I haven't tried since.

My wife just bought me a cheesemonger and a blender circuit board. Should I use 1/8 or 1/4 watt resistors for the builds?

I believe most of us use 1/4 watt metal film 1% resistors.

Both those layouts are for 1/4w, either will work fine
