$1000 picture service?

So I ordered a Ceriatone last night. Looked to see if I wanted to add anything else....but $1000 pictures? Are they gonna send nudes or what? I'm sure it's a typo but it's funny.

Actually, it’s not a typo. Nik did that on purpose, mostly as a joke… I think lol.

It was a tough choice between the King Kong 50w or the AH-50 Deluxe, I needed atleast a 2 channel amp. Went with a fully built AH-50 Deluxe. It had all the features I needed and I can't afford a Friedman anytime soon. 7 to 9 months wait though

Hahaha wow so it was on purpose that's hilarious. That dude is awesome. I thought it was a typo because I remember months ago it was $100. Maybe they don't have the time these days for that service, I dunno.

You guessed it. Nik and his crew are working their asses off just trying get orders and builds out the door. As you mentioned, up to a 9 month wait time on an order. No time for taking progress pictures of an amp being built.

I built a Trainwreck from a Ceriatione once, just to see what it sounded like and how good the kits were. The amp was ok, not particularly useful, but the kit was good. Super easy to build too. One day I might buy some of their parts to build a DC30, because I have the transformers.

I've built a couple of their kits, they do great stuff. DC30 is my dream amp, I currently use a (Ceriatone kit) Lightning, but every time I build an amp I remember how much I don't like building amps, so I decided to order a fully built one. Placed order in July, estimated delivery is March.

Nik does the best he can and he's definitely a victim of his own success ... I remember back when he offered them in parts kits and his customer base ruined that with bad behavior. I can only imagine the idiots he deals with now expecting a bespoke amp build interaction with regular progress reports and hand holding
