I have built this amp sim box out of a Cobbler, Unicab, and an AMZ opamp board for an active DI output.
I want to run it from a spare 18v output on my power supply instead of a separate 9v power supply for better headroom on the Unicab and DI. The Cobbler has a bipolar power supply so it is not that simple. Thinking this through, I can’t just remove IC100 and connect -VCC to ground because there is no bias supply And the opamps are biased to ground. Anyone have thoughts on ways to make this work?

Amp/Cab/DI Experiment
This is my Amp/Cab/DI experiment. Cobbler preamp into the Unicab cab sim, then an active DI circuit on the AMZ opamp board. There is also a 1/4” output before the DI I can use if needed. I have tested it into a USB interface and monitored through a class D amp and full range speakers. It is...
