Was building a BOM from the Decadence Preamp board I bought and saw a diode labeled 414B.... uuuum, wait, wait, no, that's 4148. Searched for it and got women's underwear. Then I realized it must be 1N4148, so I searched for that and got 1N4148-TAP at Newark. Anyone know if "-TAP" is a significant designation, or is it just a mfgr's code? The price is right at 1.5 CENTS each....

While I'm at it, they also have a crazy good price on some 50k pots. I use them for bias adjustment on fixed bias tube amps. I bought some a while ago, but thought I'd pass this on if anyone's in the market.....

Granted it's a bit more at 31.7 cents each, but still a great deal on a piher pot.
