This is possibly too stupid of a question, but where are you cats getting 25uF caps for the Tone Vendor? Is 22uF too far off to substitute?

22uf works perfectly fine and it is what is used by people who sell clones

if you're building a tone bender to vintage specs, you'll want a PCB that utilizes axial capacitors just like the original because 25uf axial are widely available but radial are pretty hard to get in small quantities. most people just settle for 22uf as it is within the 20% tolerance
