Hi,

I’ve got a 2G381A hfe 175 leakage 0.31
2G381 hfe 75 leakage 1.8
2G371A hfe 68 leakage 30

Has anyone got any idea if these are desirable (rare) or of any worth?

Hi Johnny, what are the units that you’re using for leakage? Assuming that it’s mA for the first two and µ for the last one, you could use the first as Q3 in a Buzzaround or Tone Bender Mk. III. The second has such high leakage that it’s probably only useable as a diode (assuming that’s 1.8 mA). The third could be a good fit for a Rangemaster or Q1 in a fuzz face. There are other possible uses for transistors 1 and 3, but those are good starting points. So they have some worth, albeit much less for #2.
