2n5457 substitutions for Glory Hole?

I'm building a Glory Hole and I would really like to avoid the extra shipping charge to order 5457s from a different vendor. I have j201s on the adapters and I have 5458s, will either of those sub in this application?

Also, how to I get moar smort about transistors? (Namely when it's appropriate to substitute what)

You can use 5458 here. Measure voltage on a drain of the transistor - should be around 5.5V-6V. Adjust value of the R18 if necessary.
J201 is not a good substitute here.
