2sk209g alternative?

Hello,
I’m going to be building the eight ball overdrive, and I have all the parts except the 2sk209g JFET. Is there another alternative I could substitute in its place? Many thanks!

It's an input buffer. Most JFETs will swap in fine. Only common JFET I'd recommend avoiding for that position is J201/ mmbf201

I ran into the same issue when I built an overdrive last year, and a 2N5457 worked fine for me as a substitute for the 2SK209G in the input buffer, so you could try that if it’s easier to find.

I don't know about the 2SK209-G, but the 2SK209-GR is still available as an TO-236 SMD from Mouser.
Not disagreeing w/ the other answers above, just noting...
