i did everything in this thread and mine's effect is more subtle and doesn't sound quite like my original Stone Deaf unit.
i reflowed two solder connections (already looked good) and it seems to be a lot better now, but it's eq is not as deep (effective) and my original.

yes, i got it working perfectly now. i replaced a 22K resistor and re-flowed a few solder connections.
i now have built two of them (and i really dig 'em), and they both sound just like my original.

i just received a Korg volume / expression pedal and i have a dual anti-log pot for it with a splined shaft that fits the geared mechanism but i just can't figure out how to wire the pot so it works as an expression pedal for it.

Looking at the traces on the board rn, I definitely don’t understand how the expression jack is configured relative to the dual-gang frequency control. I don’t doubt that the trace is correct, but without a schematic I’m definitely a bit perplexed by the configuration. Seems like it has the expression pedal working differently from the dual gang entirely

I think I know what’s going on now, which explains why the expression pedal configuration makes no sense with an assumption of a standard expression pedal configuration. The stone deaf “proprietary” expression pedal must consist of a dual gang pot with a common sleeve connection to either lug 1 or 3 of the two pots, and the wiper of the two pots being the tip and ring connections. Easy to put together for sure, but not at all like a normal expression pedal. I can draw it up tomorrow if anyone doesn’t get what I’m saying.

did you ever draw up wring for the expression pedal? i have an expression pedal with a dual antilog 100K pot but i can't get it working properly.
