Totally! The distortion pot doesn't do anything, but the EQ guys are very busy.

What are you talking about, it clearly goes from out of control to insane at some point on the sweep.

I finally ordered the promethium board. Who has added the extra mid pot mod and was it worth it? Also, I've been reading that some people have noise issues without a buffer. Any recs on that?

Skip the mid—unless you move the band down, it’s really close to the HIGH frequency and just sorta confuses things. The EQ frequency response is really the appeal of the circuit.

From what I could tell, my ICs were all splatter and trebly. Switching them to TL072s seem to fix it.
