Anybody miss Mammoth Electronics (R.I.P.)

Looking back through my old builds and 98% of them were built with enclosures and parts from Mammoth. Man I miss their powder coat color selection. How the heck did they die out so quickly? I even thought they were doing all the licensed Keeley mods right before they tanked.

Yeah, they had great colors and finishes. Cusak is doing a fantastic job (especially his ship times) but no powercoating.

Occasionally I will pull a mammoth pot out of the stock pile and remember back to those days.

I have this really cool burnt orange enclosure on my mbp cherrybomb, looks so nice. Had mammoth stuck around I would have never bought and airbrush to get high off the fumes…..

I mean paint enclosures with.

Where am I?

I never got any of their powder coated enclosure, and I regret that a lot. I do miss them— they drew a cat-eating pizza for me once. RIP

I agree that their powder coat was on point but they went away because they literally fucked up 80-90% of my orders with them ...
Yeah, the last couple of boxes I got from them right before they disappeared def did not have the quality of previous ones

That’s awesome! Might need to see a pic if you have one.
So for some backstory, at one point they got a request in the “additional details” box to draw a cat eating pizza, which they obliged to and then posted on Instagram about it. After seeing that,8 felt it was my duty to request a cat-eating pizza with my next order. I actually got two from them bc two different employees both wanted to do it!

Definitely some mixed experiences/opinions coming in on this one. Mine was obviously predominantly good dealings up until ab the last year of their existence, sort of similar to a sawtooth waveform…../l

I also miss when pedal-parts-plus used to sell individual powder-coated enclosures--they have a great selection of colors. They still sell them, but you need to order 25 minimum, which isn't practical for us hobbyists. They used to sell with no minimum.
That was with previous management too. They’ve had a bunch of changes over the years.

I only bought the blems from PPP but minimum order total squashed that for me too
