Arkaim Test - Does Boost Need To Be Hooked Up Too?

Hey there, I'll have to upload photos later. I built an Arkaim and when I test the fuzz side I get the effect super quiet when the knobs are cranked. When I touch a couple spots it gets the full effect. My question is does the boost side need to be in circuit for the fuzz to be at full volume and all that? Essentially does it need to be finished up to work properly? Or do I may just have a bad part or solder joint.

From the schematic and because there's 2 footswitches I'd say the boost doesn't need to be in circuit to get the full on fuzz you can see it's either routed through it to P1 or not to P3

Obviously it depends what you've missed out but from your description of touching components and it springing into life defo sounds like a poor connection
