So, umm... what is it?

My assumption is it's for using a battery on certain effects with a dc backup for when the battery dies mid-gig.

The Battery Box functions similar to the Vertex Battery Power Supply, but in a single battery format.

The idea is that a battery powered effect can be automatically disconnected to prevent drain whenever your pedalboard is not in use. Rather than have to disconnect a battery or pull an input cable to disconnect power, the Battery Box will automatically disconnect the battery whenever the 9V Control jack loses power (eg: pedalboard unplugged).

Been thinking about this, what about a 3rd dc jack for pass-through to another effect? Presumably the draw of the relay is pretty minimal, so a pass-through could power another effect and not eat up an entire slot on your power supply.

Just a thought.

Could multiple be jumpered together like the vertex version to have 4 battery outputs? Or does each pcb need to have its on independent 9volt supply?
