Best way to measure fet smd parameters?

I have some smd jfets on their way and I would like to match some for a phaser. How do you guys suggest I keep them in place?

I just placed mine on a board with the right footprint pads, unsoldered, gently pressing down with some tweezers to insure contact while testing. Did over 100 this way.

BTW, I now have over 100 MMBFJ201's matched within +/- 1 or 2 dB to Rockman X100 compressor specs, tested in-circuit. Don't tell anyone
