I installed a momentary SPST footswitch in my Cataclysm build, following the advice in this thread, adding a 25k trimpot.
Not noticing that the Magnetron "feedback" pot is 100k, while the Cataclysm "repeats" is a 5k pot, so the oscillation switch only works when the trimpot is almost all fully counterclockwise.
So for this circuit, I recommed using a 1k trimpot, in order to better fine tune the oscillation set-in time
