I heard so many great things about this pedal that I had to build it eventually.

The rumors are true apparently. This is one saucy gal.

I've got quite the cat fight going on on the lower rail of my pedal board right now for a coveted spot, not the least of which it the Informant I finished last night along with this one.

It's going to be interesting....

Fantastic build. The test pads for biasing the JFETs are chef's kiss, thanks @Robert ...

I biased the J201s by bridging the IN signal to ground, setting the Sag all the way left, and the gain all the way right. I think that was the summary of the tips in the forums.

I use bus wire which saves from having to strip it. If you're interested..
