So I sort of randomly came upon an article about what the different classes of "amplifier" circuits are. Class A being relatively close to something like an LPB1 or Rangemaster style single transistor boost.
Then I see class B consisting of a PNP and NPN transistor each handling the respective half of the input wave. But also apparently Class B suffers from crossover distortion, which different Class AB approaches could basically fix, all the nerdy stuff.
So my questions are: do any Class B or AB amplifier type pedals exist? If so, which and if not, would it be crazy to try? Or any of you madmen try already?
