Complex Overdrive (Friedman SmallBox) toggle switch question

I've been thinking about building this one, but I don't always like toggle switches on the outside of the pedal, especially if it's already a 6 knob build. This build has a toggle switch for the gain structure that I'd like to keep internal.

What are my options here? Can a mini slide switch be used to keep this internal?

OMG...if Hellraiser was in a band and only had a Hot Rod Deluxe for the gig because his Diezels are in the shop getting modded for more gain.

Basically yes. It increases the gain slightly, but it's more a change in feel. It tightens everything up a bit, but not quite to Thermionic/BE-OD levels.

I see the gain toggle adds 2 leds for gain/feel. Is there a place where I can add a parallel resistor to add just a little more gain with the toggle engaged?
