Daisy Seed + My own PCB

I found a cool video where this dude does a multi-fx pedal https://github.com/bkshepherd/DaisySeedProjects/blob/main/Software/GuitarPedal/README.md - im new to daisy and would like to flash the code onto my daisy which is attached to my own pcb board (i have written a JSON file for the pinouts). Basically i just dont know how to import the code from github to vs code. Im more used to how its done in JUCE and x code. Im more just looking for the delay code so would be cool to also know if its as simple as just deleting all code not related to delay.
