Well today was dedicated to getting some demos recorded.
First up is some sound demo's of one of 2 new amps that I posted about in my NAD post.
I'm still learning how to use this amp so sorry for the fiddly-ness of the knob fiddling...heh.
Some comparisons with my go to software amp model that you've all heard in my demo's. The UAD Friedman Buxom Betty. I absolutely love that amp and would like to get the real amp someday. It's one of Dave Friedman's hand wired line and is essentially a Fender Bassman with EL34's and some eq tweaks to make it go from American to British. Huge sounding amp with a lovely clean tone. Shame that it's been discontinued. I've looked for them and it seems the only ones popping up on Reverb are the combo models and they fetch a pretty penny.
Anyway, as mentioned in my post, this one is going on the block soon, I'll probably wait until Frenzel finishes building the other amp I have on order with them.
Really cool little amp, and I can imagine it can only sound better with a bit more power and 6L6's.
