Standard DS-1 mode & Custom mode which adds 6dB of Boost & more Mid range!I would like to build a DS-1 (never built, never had) and to try all the possible mods to have fun, but t I'm waiting for seeing the difference with the original DS-1 schematic.
Do anyone have some clue about what's new in the Waza version?

It sounds to me (after all the research about the DS-1) like the remove of the R17 resistor mod.Standard DS-1 mode & Custom mode which adds 6dB of Boost & more Mid range!
I would piggyback off of this and (also perhaps not the right place) but it would be really cool to see some common mods integrated into some of the build docs. I know that the Big Muff PCB here does that for example - has all sorts of different component lists for the various versions. Aion did the same with their TS808 PCB in the past - listing some component lists/swaps for popular mods/variants/etc (Clay Jones, Boiling Point, Fulldrive, etc). It would be pretty cool if that option was readily available for some of the more "basic" pedals that have inspired a bunch of clones/variants/mods/etc.Maybe this isn't the best place to ask but are the numbers of the components on the PedalPCB boards for Boss pedals the same as the component names that are on the Boss PCBs? I have Wampler's book on pedal mods, so it might be a good resource to go through it an map out mods for all the Boss PCBs that PedalPCB makes

Let’s face it: our lives are miserable, laborious, and short.
Speaking of availability- the Revived DOD/Digitech already has the gonkulator back in production and in stores. Can’t remember if that one had an obsolete chip holding it up, but it’d be interesting to see if they’ve changed the circuit to use a readily available alternative in the new 2022 production runs.
To be fair, the DS-1 has 10 votes in another thread.
Several of those in your list are in progress despite not being marked as such, and one is pretty rare and I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Availability is fairly important.
'Twas all in good fun.

I can confirm there is no opamp, all discrete transistors.
Is it even a DS-1 then?…
I can confirm there is no opamp, all discrete transistors.
But... why? They did the same thing with the BD-2W.
It sounds to me (after all the research about the DS-1) like the remove of the R17 resistor mod.
Anyway, could I still right about the switch mode mentioned by me some post ago?
