Dumble Pedals

Holy shit it's the bloody Harrisons again. The amount of times they've been caught peddling fake guitars and amps is frankly unbelievable but after nearly 30 years they're still at it.

Edit. This piece explains some of their shadiness though I stress only some of it. If you Google Music Ground and Justin Harrison you'll find plenty to read. God know how many 'vintage' guitars out there have been knocked up in the basement of music ground back in the day.

My wife is always amazed at when I can pick out the amp used on songs she plays while we are in the car. You can usually get in the ballpark. Though...it helps that all the bands she likes use the same gear (JCM 900/2000)...

It’s my understanding that none of them same the same, they are tuned to the person ordering them.

According to an Instagram post by @TheToneGeek, British Pedal Co has hijacked the Dumble name, filed to cancel the Dumble's trademark, and applied to register it as their own.

Didn’t the EU decide that US trademarks aren’t valid over there, or was it patents? I know in the Dean / Gibson case, Gibson lost.
 
My sort of inherited mythology understanding of HA Dumble is that he was a sovereign citizen guy, so there's not much in the way of actual administrative presence/legal standing for "dumble" as a business. Hence, this door being left open after his death.
