Duo cast transistors

In the build doc for the duo cast, Q2 is supposed to be a OC71 PNP. Is there an equivalent value or other transistors that work well/similarly to this one?

An OC71 is the ideal Ge BJT for that specific part. Most any Ge PNP with low leakage and gain between 50 and 85 should work well. Be sure to give attention to the pinouts.

I believe that current Broadcast pedals have Russian MP20s in there. I have built some with an MP20 with HFE around 50-70 and they sound great.

i grabbed a few TG5S polish transistors off ebay....i tested them when they came in and i think they were right in that range w low leakage
