SOLVED Eae beholder

Hey all-

Just finished a eae beholder, and the fuzz pot acts very similar to a volume. It doesnt seem to do much for the fuzz gain. All the way down, i cant hear any sound from the pedal.

When I tested, i feel like this wasnt happening. Then i tightened down the nuts, and now this is the response.

Could i have possibly over tightened and busted the pot? Does anyone have this pedal that can confirm?

what happens when you loosen the nut back a bit? It is possible to overdo it

If a leg of the pot came disconnected, would this be a possibility?

Sounds like a good theory to me.

Quick reflow of that pot would be an easy thing to try.

When I built this, a couple of the pots were not pcb mount, so i made them pcb mount with off cuts. It occurred to me to me that maybe when I tightened the nuts, perhaps one of the legs popped at the connection between the pot and the off cut. I reflowed the points on the pcb with no change. Guess ill open it back up. Dang it.

Poked around and found a loose capacitor. Reflowed solder and works like a charm.
