I tried to export some of my diptrace switch footprints for eagle but diptrace gave a message about the hole shapes / pad dimensions being reset because of eagle specs, and I imagine that is the more useful part of what you're asking for here.
If you have the madbean library my go to 3pdt from that is "3pdtblue" (chinablue) with
pads
width: 4.25mm
height: 2.125mm
holes
width: 3.5mm
height: 1.5mm
It's not perfect but I've never had any trouble getting 3pdts to work with it. Here's a picture of this tayda switch (I fucking love these btw) installed in a random board (3pdt breakout with extra ground pads) that used that footprint.
Oh nice. I have been neglecting this project. I really like the oval pads for breakout boards. I’m planning on making a breakout that includes LED pads with a CLR / anti-pop / fade sub circuit (e.g., the low tide switching).

I'm with you 100%. Round pads need way too much solder to make a solid connection on switches for me to feel confident they're not gonna shatter the epoxy on whatever switch I'm using. Plus the pins are ovals ... only makes sense that the pads and holes are too.
