Ehx tube zipper

I got a old tube zipper gathering dust and I was wondering if pedal pcb would be interested in tracing it and if people would buy the pcb xD it's a bulky pedal and uses 2 12ax7 tubes plus a weird 18v power supply so not too sure about the interest for this one :/. It is a sweet pedal non the same... But just to big to keep on my pedal board .

I have a schematic for one that is meant to be powered by 12VAC, is yours different?

Those old tube based EHX pedals have always made me curious.....

I will have to check later tonight it may be 12v but it's more the connector that is on the weird side.

I’ve got a Hot Tubes with actual tubes. I think it was rebranded as the English Muffin or something else shortly after they started making it. It runs on a 12v supply. Strange plug though. Not a normal Boss type.

I got the same power jack connector. It's 12v AC and it looks like there's a transformer inside. I tried to open the enclosure but it looks like I will need to remove all the hardware to get the pcb out and all the components are on the top. Let me know if you want pics or even ship you the unit if you're really interested to go down that rabbit hole ^^.

There's a factory schematic on the diystompbox forum for the muffin. There's quite a bit of voltage running on those 12ax7s xD my guess it's the same for my tube zipper, better be extra careful with the capacitors when opening those enclosures. I am pretty sure they're used only for the drive section though, it's a pretty cool envelope filter but you can easily use it just as a overdrive/fuzz
