I've built a few drive pedals now, and I'm not brilliant with the theory side of things but I've noticed that some circuits have loads of electrolytic caps and some may only have 1 or 2. I know in a tube amp they filter the ripple out of the power supply, are they doing the same here and why the differences in the circuits?
