Sheesh… This is the 3rd one I’ve completed for the Electrovibe and this one is the best sounding one I’ve built … Sooo much wooshy goodness… Just wow… Added a bunch of Big Monks suggestions for slow speed resistors… High speed resistors and above unity gain recommendations..

awesome! just got my PCB in today with the face plate, will be only the 3rd pedal ive built so im very new, I guess I better go read about the suggestions. still need some parts I forgot about but this one im excited for. thanks for the pictures

that's a brave venture for your third pedal!..... Just make sure you solder well.. Come in hot (385C for me).. touch the pad and lead for 1.5 seconds... bump it with the solder and watch the solder wick in and get out... trim leads.. insulate stuff that needs insulated... clean the flux off the board with 99% alcohol and a toothbrush... and rock

yeah, im looking at this board and it looks pretty intense, could you explain what you did with the left 47k resistor? did you just combine two of them together?
 
I am so glad you posted the view inside your 'Vibe, because I am wondering about the optimum placement for the LDR's. I have seen three different approaches, including mine which was to face them straight up as indicated on the PCB.

You can do that, it'll work. There's plenty of light reflecting off of the lid of the enclosure.

I think the main benefit of installing them standing is that you can fine tune the distance of each LDR from the lamp if you're in to that sort of thing.

Go get it my friend! take your time and there is a ton of resources here to reference, so take breaks when your not sure, it’s like the old saying measure twice cut once.

sorry I didn't see your question knappster...yes I combined the two resistors to get a determined resistance.... Part of that was to modify the values for some of monks unity gain mods on the circuit.
 
It is working well, I put reflective tape on the lid, did some adjustments to the gain and bias…planning on doing the Gain Mod from Big Monk to get it level…I also have another PCB and parts to make a Mk II…Probably do some experimenting with the LDR’s….
