Hey everybody! Long time lurker first(or second) time poster. I built an ember boost and when I plug it in/switch it on it sounds great but then starts to do the dub/feedback regen/climb to feedback/bitcrush style noise until it just doesn’t let signal through. Attached is a picture - don’t mind the hot glue, it was for insulation porpoises. This happens at all settings and only resets when the power is removed. Also - it’s my son’s so I had him paint all his cases.

You might have some fake opa2134s there, hard to tell though, can you get a better picture of them?

Wouldn’t be the first time someone got fakes from Tayda, those don’t look legit. If you have some known good TL072s, 4558 etc try putting them in just to see what happens. I only buy fancy opamps from mouser or digikey because of this.
