Face Melter not working :(

So I finally put my face melter pedal together and I sadly failed hard. Its not making any sound and the only thing that works is the foot switch led and another led at the top of the board next to the grounds for the jacks. The 2 leds on the middle of the board are not soldered on but they are making contact like they would on an arduino when I test stuff before soldering. Besides that all my contacts are in place although not perfect they should be good enough to allow the pedal to work.

I have clue what i did wrong, does anyone happen to notice something thats not in the right place? I can add some close up pics if needed. Im hoping I didn’t fry the board itself 🤞🏻🤦🏻

(Moved this post from my face melter post to here as mentioned by chuckdbones since this is the trouble shooting section)

PXL_20230228_173419336.jpg I just built a Face Melter and kept the name but designed a printable paper cover using the melting dude from Robocop. Worked just fine, functionality-wise and was my first pedal. However, the LED ring only has 3 of 4 of the LEDs working when on, and the 4th (on the right of the 3PDT) sometimes come on when pedal is off. Bizarre since its one single 2-wire connection. Cant figure that one out, but as a result, I have to unplug the power when not in use. Going to open it back up, take the guts out and elec tape everything in case something is touching something it shouldn't. Anybody ever have this happen?

1. You're hijacking an old thread, start a new one.
2. You're new, so we'll cut you some slack. Read some of the other Troubleshooting posts so you can see what the process is here.
3. The problem is in the LED ring. There might be a short to gnd on one of the LEDs. Look for burrs around the hole you drilled for the stomp switch and other conductive debris.
4. You're using a Duracell battery. If you love your gear, you'll dispose of that :poop: properly before it leaks electrolyte all over the place.

Thanks for all of that. Will do, will do, will do, and .... will do. \m/
