Favorite Overdrives???!!! please share

Hello everyone. Vacationing from the forum the last year due to healing a finger/wood chipper incident. Now that I can hold a guitar pick again Im back in the saddle for new tones. Ive acquired a Vox and in its weirdness, is more sensitive to overdrives than my Marshalls.

So do tell, whats your fave OD's! Sale time is ending soon and I want to load up on some pcb's.

Haven't tinkered with them all, but from what I've tried, I'm a big fan of madbean's Sparkplug

I like running a stock rat (ppcb muroidea) into an AC15. Not exactly an OD, but if you go easy on the gain it could put you in that territory. The Mach 1 is great about anywhere. Mean Green Metal Machine works well for me too.

My fave with the AC15 though is plugging in direct and diming it.

I found a Kings Hand, Pot & Kettle & Guardian in my arsenal. Most likely did not have enough to complete them.

Current fave is: Powder Blue OD and a trusty Pauper. Mach 1 is a runner up but is kinda fat. Need to loose some low boost otherwise really good too.

I have had a joyo sweet baby, danelectro roebuck and ehx opamp big muff on my pedal board for some time now, these three together are perfect for me. Only thing that doesn't change. Every time I try to swap one of these off I get back to it.

My current faves are also my most recent builds:) The Cast Iron (Lollar Overdrive) just freshly demo'd in the build report section and also the StageCoach Drive (Barber BUSS Drive) that I have yet to post a build report or demo, it's coming next.
 
Depends on the amp. For a Fender style amp, I prefer amp in the box types, which my two PedalPCB favorites are the Lead Solder Overdrive (SLO), the Little Debbie (Friedman Dirty Shirley) and the Appetizer (Alexander Jubilee). If I am going for edge of breakup, I use a Timmy circuit with a few of my mods. I also use a modified ODR-1 for heavy tones.

For a Vox style, I use a Dragon's Breath Boost (Catilinbread Naga Viper). For a Marshall JCM800, it depends on my mood. A TS-10 modified to be less mid-humpy and no clipping diodes, a Closed Circuit Booster / Limiter (Solo Dallas Storm). For a Plexi, the modified ODR-1, a DoD-250 or a Rat (set lower gain).

I have to second the Aldrin. Build either the lunar module (Aldrin) as shown, or bump the dirt a bit with the Screwdriver (MBP cosmopolitan). You can build the screwdriver on the aldrin board
