After months of having a saved ebay search I was finally able to snag a busted crybaby with a solid enclosure for $30 shipped. I figure I'm gonna do the Tearjerker but was wondering what y'all have liked?
Ring mod? I like my guitar tone without robot sex noises pleaseCheck out the Cosmo King from DeadEndFX
Speaking of speaking of Wah pedals…Speaking of wah pedals...
Let's talk about wah pedals
If you were going to build a wah pedal that has a secondary function/footswitch (like the old Shin-Ei Fuzz Wah, for example) but using a standard Crybaby style enclosure how would you prefer to handle the secondary footswitch? Here's a few ideas so far... Kick switch on the side or back of the...forum.pedalpcb.com
Fuzz into Wah is always the way to go imo. I think in the case of the Jen, it’s got a topology most similar to a Vox, but with some pretty significant value changes. Of course that’s just what I’ve read— I’ve yet to take a good look at pics of the original units, and iirc the few schematics floating in the web all differ pretty drastically from each other. On bass, I like my wah after the fuzz, I guess that's partly why the Jen Double Sound Fuzz Wah perked my ears up — fuzz > wah — I think the JDSFW sounds great.
I downloaded the schematic years ago, before I started building pedals even, and forgot about it. Looking at it now, seems Fuzz Face-ish into ?
I don't know enough about wah circuits yet — which wah circuit is the Jen's related to?
oh no are you going to make me do this ebay song and dance all over again for whatever comes of that thread lolSpeaking of wah pedals...

Yer lucky it wasn't cat-spray — that stuff never comes off, not even with commercial grade de-caterizer formulas. A lifetime ago, flatmate's cat peed/sprayed on my brand-new MTBing shoes; I did everything to get rid of the cat-dew. Got the shoes to a point where I could wear them again, unless it was raining ... riding in the rain brought the full bouquet back, chuck 'm in the wash, rinse, repeat.
Words I never expected to read on a pedal forum. Would happily hear the rest of the story!A skunk died in my dad's car
Liantronic quoted me $13.80 USD per unit for a similar enclosure. No idea about shipping though. I've also read that some of those enclosures on Ali Express come with the screw holes still needing to be threaded, FWIW.![]()

I'm also looking at the tearjerker. Anyone have any luck putting it in something like this?
