Cool. How do the IC pins get connected to the eyelets?

I use a metal drilling template to drill the IC pins through the Board & I twist the end of coated Hookup wire & wrap it around a Dressmakers Pin 2 times & it slides over the IC pin & gets soldered in place & to the required Eyelet.
