Friedman BE Mini

The demo videos sound pretty good...I immediately figured it wouldn't be TOO long before someone reversed engineered it...
 
I love the look and idea of it, but if it could have a clean channel, even just volume and tone knob, it would be a slam dunk.

I agree...the lack of a clean tone in the demo's I've watched is a little disappointing but, then again, I don't think Friedman is looking at the "clean tone market" with this one.

Very true, plus I guess it leaves room for him to expand. Like a 2-channel BE-mini Deluxe, say $399 or so. How bout a Tiny Pink Taco! 😉
 
On the Sweetwater comparison chart, it's next to the 100W Boss Katana at about the same price.
 
I just found out these mini amps are what Phil Mckinght has been saying for a few months, but he couldn't share specifics till now.

Apparently more are coming from other brands, probably within the Boutique Amp Distribution umbrella, like a Soldano or Diezel etc.. 22:00 timestamp
