Oh look, another EQD build! Here is the Fuzz Captain. Compared to the EQD Fuzz Master General which is compared to the Ace Tone FM-2. Which are in the Super Fuzz and Boss FZ-2 territory.
I personally love this gnarly type of fuzz so this thing sound awesome to me. It's really not different from a Super Fuzz aside from toggling between silicon diodes, Ge diodes, no diodes. All 3 settings sound great. Also, to note, one thing I learned is that there is a 1N60 silicon diode. I thought all the 1N60 was Ge but the Si are very different.
I finally used a 8mm LED (or 10mm? I forget) and I think it looks awesome.
