CONTEST Fuzz Face Fridays

I made this Fuzz Face on vero many years ago in a blank red enclosure. I revisited it a few months ago and realized how much I loved it, so I spruced it up. I added the graphics and replaced the 3pdt stomp switch with a small silent relay switch board I made. I run the transistors a bit hot at V1=2.1v, V2=5.7v and used an Audio100k volume pot, so there is a bit less bass - but it punches through nicely.

Thanks. I've seen the twin face. I've already populated the PCBs and had some enclosures inbound from Banzai that were... We'll I don't have access to those now.

In the meantime until I get more I was gonna reuse a 1590bb I have but don't know if they'll be weird in the same box with a switch to select between them.

@Robert do you have any thoughts on running a Sandspur and sunflower in the same box but not at the same time?

This is probably the best fuzz pedal I've ever made, a Jack Deville (Mr. Black) Vintage 2-Knob Fuzz, which is a slightly tweaked FF, or a slightly tweaked Tonebender mk1.5, made with a couple MP38As. It does an excellent heavy fuzz, but is very well-balanced, not sludgy and gets a sweet "chirp" pick attack even all the way up. But the thing I really like is how much range there is rolling off the guitar volume. It will go all the way from fuzz to overdrive to totally clean and everything in between with a pretty wide and gradual sweep, plus it doesn't lose any treble sparkle when turning down the guitar volume. My Telecaster's best friend and perfect for dirtying up an old blackface Fender. Storyboardist layout on perf from back when I started using zip ties!

My Ge FF I posted here is the same. It stays bright on cleanup. Some Germaniums are magical.
 
That's what I call a FUZZ FRIDAY! Very groovy builds you should all be proud of and all are worthy of awards greater than I could ever give.

I'll have to give out two prizes though. ;)

I have never made a phaser. But I guess I could, one day. Not in time for this competition though.

And shouldn't that be Phase Phriday?

I love it man! It's a thing of beauty, one day I aspire to be able to "roll my own" pedals with Vero or turret.
