Pretty sad how nowadays our dinosaurs are chickens and most of our wolves are French bulldogs, pugs and Corgis.

Last time I was in Texas.. giant ribs.. check, massive vehicles.. check, grown men yelling the equivalent of "yabba, dabba, doo".. check.

I built this one a while ago I forgot about it. I remember the first time I tested it out was with a single coil neck pickup of my telecaster and a voice started coming through my amp preaching! Shortly there after I found out that’s it’s common to pick up interference like that when they’re so close.

Made one for me and a buddy. Got the kits from ggg, great place to start right! This is by far my favorite paint job I’ve done. I’m still trying to learn how to do some graphic design on the computer for a water slide type decal. My hand painting knob labels is tedious and UGLY, so I left it off on this one. I used a 4 sided die to deal with super bright led, now I’m a little more learn’ed and could probably put in the right resistor. But the die does the mojo right I think. Definitely one of my first 10 builds. The guts aren’t as gruesome as I thought they might be. It’s good to share as well.

Yeah I went back to that gaming store and bought a big handful for some other ideas, like maybe some knobs. They’re all so cool, with sparkles and objects set inside them.

Here’s a Madbeans version of a Dunlop Eric Johnson Fuzz Face I put together. Tight fit but it works and sounds great.
