Getting Started with PCBA at JLCPCB

I’m at a point where I’m probably going back to through hole.

I’m scaling back on batch sizes and the ends are not justifying the means anymore on PCBA.

Yeah, the extended parts costs adds up real quick, I was hoping for myself to get the resistors and caps assembled and then finish off the rest myself, but with C0G not being included as a basic that kind of ruins the idea for my single board ambitions.

KiCAD has a specific plugin I believe.

Yep - I listed it in my guide, it's the Bouni plugin for Kicad. It lets you do the parts assignment as a separate step.
