GigRig Virtual Battery

So feel that carbon 9v battery powering a fuzz pedal. Now imagine being able to mimic that by having DC sag ability incorporated into your twin face build -- drool.

Yes or no?

Agreed - never tried it myself but FuzzDog has a PCB that looks good for this purpose. Would love a PedalPCB one though.

Interesting. It seems like it's a three-in-one type solution. Definitely would like to see PedalPCB's take on a virtual battery.

Look up the dead bat being battery simulator from alchemy audio. It's kinda like the sag function on the voodoolab pedal power 2. I actually have one. I believe it's just a 10kb pot or something around there between the DC input and DC output jack. The pot varies the voltage so you can drop the voltage to the sweet spot. In reality it wouldn't be hard to implement something like this into a build. Or on a charge pump board either.
some discussion about that here
