A few days ago, my wife and I were to fly out of YEG (Edmonton) to YVR (Vancouver) and on to HKG (Hong Kong).
Fog cancelled all flights, and the next day the flights would've got us to Vancouver and stalled there, as Chinese New Year is upon us and all flights out of Vancouver were overbooked. There was one seat available for my wife, and I would have to wait to the 13th to get standby.
So we got rerouted. YEG Edmonton to YYZ Toronto to FRA Frankfurt to HKG Hong Kong.
My what a llllllonnnnngg strange trip it's been...
