Also the 4th of July is not a holiday anywhere except the USA to the best of my knowledge. It's a standard Monday here in the Commonwealth Realms. We did recently have a holiday for the Queen's Birthday which is actually based on the date of her grandfather George V's birthday because Lizzie's birthday is in April, close to Easter. And, in fact, our day off this year was my birthday, the 13th of June. I am old but I had cake anyway. Which I bought.

I'm a June birthday as well, June 24th was 66 trips around the sun
 
I’ll be going upstate this Fourth of July weekend. Going to see Steely Dan one night and the Doobie Brothers (with Michael McDonald back in the fold) the other night. One of the nights (can’t remember which) will actually be the 100th concert I’ll have attended in my life. I have a spreadsheet to keep track of all of that stuff.
Anyone else have fun concerts coming up in the next few weeks? Traveling far to get to them, or are they just local?

I think the last concert we went to was the Eagles History lesson or something like that. I was like, dannnng, that dude’s OLD. But they played those memories like only they could and we had a great time.
 
Happy Birthday @Barry! June really is a big month for birthdays— not sure what had my Grandparents all so exited in September of 1962, but I REALLY DON’T wanna know 🤮
Actually now that I think about it, I think June is the most disproportionately represented month for birthdays among my extended family, with December possibly following shortly after. To be fair, aside from my immediate family, I only know like four of my cousins’ birthdays, two of my uncles’ birthdays, my one grandma’s birthday, and none of my aunts’ birthdays aside.

Anyone else have unusually strong concentrations of birthdays in a particular month in their family?

1. Can't believe you have a spreadsheet of shows. Wish I had started that at some point.
2. The summer here has been especially dry for shows. but October looks stacked. Frankie & the Witch Fingers, Mac Sabbath, Slift, and King Buffalo. and the wife got me tickets to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard on Halloween.
