Heavy Spider Crackle Content

This was another experiment for me. I'm still trying to get the crackle paint down. I tested on a 1590B so I had to throw something that would fit in there. And I had this board for a while so I just wanted to get it out of my WIP drawer. The paint came out "crumpled" up a bit on the top but I just clear coated over it and I like how it came out. It's got an cool texture to it but also made for a cool look.

Anyway, the circuit; I'm not sure it's right but it's seems to be so rare that there is very little info out there. I tried a few different transistors. I ended up on a P2222A and a BC547B. This thing starts squealing real bad at around 1 o'clock. It's like a fucked up Fuzz Face. I don't really have any good things to say about it. But, I'm not totally sure it's built completely.

Either way, I'm happy with the enclosure.

That is what I figured, I have had three good attempts and one massive failure with that stuff.

You have a better success rate then me! I've got 2 wins but 3 losses. It's tricky imo.

I did a lot of testing with it, and the Montana crackle is very humidity dependent
