True, like falco suggested you could just use one of those red/green biLEDs. Have the red half be the on/off and green be the tempo. 2 less holes 2 less bezels.
But the enclosure already looks so empty and big.
I voted 3 out of the options though

Brutally honest, at a glance:

#1 is confusing
#2 looks better
#3 looks better and makes better sense to me. - having the indicators separated makes them less confusing to me - also I'd be looking at the knobs and having the indicators right there

Just my 2c

I've been working on and off on this pedal for 12 years.

I initially used a 1590DD hammond enclosure. 7,402po L x 4,724po l (188,01mm x 119,99mm) X 1,525po (38,74mm)
A few years later I switched to the 1590D (the one in the picture) which is a taller version, so i could fit a 14V transformer in.
The pedal / project stayed in a box for many years until last year when I finally decided to sell it as parts. I made a quick video showing it was working and while doing some A/Bs, I realized I actually liked the sound of my pedal better than the Voodoo Lab & Fulltone vibes I had.

Since 2014, I had started tinkering on building amps and I had a channel switcher pcb lying around.
On my previous build (actual layout) I had a footswitch for on/off (1 LFO led) , and the other for the cancel mode (the other LED). Standard volume, speed and intensity controls. toggle switch for chorus / vibrato.

Right now, I have one on/off footswitch (and a LED) and one chorus / vibrato switch (LFO LED). Each mode has separate speed and intensity controls; thanks to the 2 relays on the channel switcher pcb. https://www.tubetown.net/ttstore/en/kit-double-relais-switcher-6-v.html
I got rid of the cancel switch and was leaning on making the volume control internal.

I was thinking:
_ 1 led for on/off
_ 1 led for LFO
_ 1 led for chorus
_ 1 led for vibrato

I already bought the 2 extra bezels and the blue and purple LEDs.
I gave up on using the transformer, no matter what I tried, i still had background noise. I still have the slimmer enclosure, but I sanded it and it doesnt look as nice now.

I guess i could do 3 LEDs.
